Five habits that make a set last
Gloves, oil and a little patience: what our artists do to make their own nails last three weeks.

A set lasts as long as the way you treat it. These are the habits we follow ourselves.
1. Oil every evening
Cuticle oil keeps the skin around your nails soft and stops the edge of your gel from lifting. One drop per nail, rubbed in, before bed.
2. Gloves for hot water
Long soaks in hot water make nails swell and shrink, which loosens gel. Wear gloves for dishes and cleaning.
3. Nails are jewels, not tools
Use the pad of your finger to open cans, peel stickers and scrape labels.
4. File, never peel
If a corner lifts, file it gently or call us. Peeling takes layers of your own nail with it.
5. Book the next one before you leave
Sets look their best for two to three weeks. A booking on the calendar stops you from picking.
